Thanks for the plugging of our site! ;)

I guess it has been a big, big job for us over the last 5 years. It started off with Chook writing a tongue in cheek blogspot blog, which we then added a video too. We wanted to keep the blog going (Chook struggled with time) and then turned into the .com using wordpress.

The key is keeping the site fresh with new content as much as we can. Although, a lot of that doesn't matter because the site really is a forum in blog format! I'd hate to know how many people don't actually read the articles and just go to the comments to find out who they should trade!

It is forever going to develop and evolve. It is a massive job, even with the half a dozen people we have writing, but we love it.

Cheers, Warnie.

I think the schedule is a really great feature of the site. I think the biggest thing was the crowd that they drew in with the YouTube videos. I think also that the site has always been multiple people means that they have kept it consistent because they haven't been burnt out with the load shared!

This surely is one of the benefits of the "always connected" age.

We all carry smart phones which can all double as digital voice recorders and in some cases HD video recorders. Need a blog post, record or film it on your device anytime anywhere and send through to be transcribed. Many of the well-known bloggers are switching or have switched to blogging by voice and/or video alone. This makes them more personable, easy to listen to or watch and to digest in quick chunks. But what you gain in having your voice or face recognised you lose in search engine content searchability. We all know that Google loves content, written content is high on their list. Pump out your audio or video blog but complement it with text version, Google loves it, your hearing impaired fans love it and people who prefer to read love it.

Happy audience, liked blog.

I thought your review was pretty spot on. The site is maintained by the three members of our Archives team and we try to make sure the post are authentic. It has been quite a commitment to keep the site filled with new conetent. Agree on the graphics and look for changes in the coming months.
